If reading that first paragraph just made you feel mad or angry, great - it means you live by the believe that health is not for everybody and that you are a victim of whatever disease you are suffering from. And becoming aware of these limiting and harmful believes is an important step on your journey to health and well being. 

And it's not your fault, either. 

The society we live in literally trains us to believe that. We grow up thinking that we depend on medical doctors, pharmaceutical companies and fancy machines in order to be healthy and that could not be further from the truth.

I guess you would agree with me that your physical body is a living organism, a part of nature. It has it's own rhythms, incredibly smart organs and functions on it's own agenda day in day out without you even being aware of the majority of processes that are happening. 

Understanding that your body is a part of nature, something that was created by a life force that is much greater and more intelligent than humans will ever be, makes the following statement easy to believe: If you want your body to be well, thriving and alive, you need to treat it according to it's needs and obey the laws of nature. 

Much like the engine of a car breaks down when you fill in the wrong type of fuel, your body gets sick when you feed it the wrong foods, drinks, pills, cremes, lotions, chemicals etc. 

If you want to keep your car up and running, you need to obey the laws of mechanics and physics. 

If you want your body to be healthy, you need to obey the laws of nature. 

It's as simple as that. 

Now if you have ever tried to change your diet, you already know how hard that can be. 

For the most part, it has to do with the emotional attachments we have to the foods we eat and the power of habits. 

In order to heal your body, you won't have to go on a super healthy diet for the rest of your life. 

However, depending on the depth of your health issues, you'll need to do a 3-12 months detox and that of course means that you'll have to stay away from certain foods for this period of time. 

Once you are cleaned out, you can start eating other things again. 

By stepping out of your body's way and leaving it alone so it can do it's work, you allow the natural healing process to unfold. 

This is much different from what happens when you take medication. 

Those pills do not heal you. Never. They simply suppress symptoms and may make you feel better for now. But what they also do is adding more toxins to your body and there will be a point in time when you experience the blowback from that. 

Suppressing symptoms of any kind is not only dangerous it is also disrespectful to your body and it's intelligence. 

When the body shows a symptom, it is asking you for help. It is showing you that something is not okay and that it needs you to take a break, stop feeding it harmful things and leave it alone so it can do some healing.

If you then throw pills at it to make it shut up, the whole situation just becomes worse. And at some point, your body won't ask you for help anymore because it has learned that you don't listen anyway. 

So the symptoms may decrease from your point of view, but in reality your body just started to accumulate the excess toxins in it's tissues and put some mucus or water or fat cells around them in order to protect the important organs for as long as possible. 

But this won't go well forever. 

If you keep eating, drinking and consuming harmful stuff, there will be a point when you get in serious trouble - medical doctors call it cancer, strokes, heart attacks, MS, arthritis etc.
